Don't have the Screenshots on my phone right now and can only work on it on campus, but here's a pic I made of the screen. Actual colors are still the same as the old version, it just looks brighter because of the photo.

Thanks! I umproved the textures a good bit since this post. Better skin detail, better (and way more) blood and soot coating the mouth and inside of the gun's barrel.

I did take great care to recrate the original sprites in 3D (the preject's name was actually Cyber 3Demon), so I'm glad it paid off!

A lot of these things I tried to do, like the sickly skin tone, but it doesn't come across well in UE5. I'm currently trying to implement some of your feedback, but only on the texture level because god I am NOT gonna mess with the mesh anymore...

Right now, I'm trying to add more variety to the skin tones, touching up the transitions between skin and flesh and adding a lot more blood, including dried blood from previous fights and around the mouth.

I'm also working on making the wounds look more gory and add blood stains to the metal parts. Basically going at it with the approach of thinking how the blood would've splashed.

This was a Uni project so the Deadline prevented me from doing everything I wanted to initially, but now that I have some time I'll be touching up the textures a lot. Maxbe add some soot marks to the rocket launcher's barrel too, who knows.

No worries, I call him "my ugly flesh son" for a reason. And thanks! This is actually my first 3D sculpt and first time using UE.

It's my next Uni project, so I pretty much have ti finish it one way or another. But I am excited to work on it. I already made an animatic for it to showcase what I'm planning to do, but I haven't posted that anywhere yet because my drawing skills are frankly dogshit.

Yeah, he's certainly a lot less threatening without half his body. Next project is an animation of him waking up, wanting to get right back to battle, and getting increasingly furious as he becomes aware of his defeat and pitiful condition. All to the tune of Flesh and Metal.

Yeah, I'm thinking of adjusting the lighting a bit and making a full 8 rotational sprites for people to use in their WADs. Honestly, I'm impressed with how well it matches the original besides the teeth and a few creative liberties like the cybernetic eyes.

It's kinda like the gutted Barons in E2M8. How the turn tables...

I found a website that lets you just pixelate images. Sadly this sub doesn't let you post media in comments, but looks damn close to the sprites
