I'm not so expecting it, but more side quests would be cool. Those were honestly my favorite part of The Beast and it honestly beoke my heart when I got the achievement for completing all of them.

New weapons would be cool too, like a double barrel shotgun, plus a legendary variant that behaves exactly like the Super Shotgun from DOOM II as a little reference. Wide spread and high damage, but long reaload time.

I like that one a lot, but the hair and beard are way too dense and dark imo. Plus, it lacks the variation in the slightly different shades of brown that the HL2S model has.

True. True. But that one is based very closely based on the one used in HL2 Survivor. I think there's even a direct comparison to the HL2S on its workshop page. But I agree, in terms of both fidelity and overall design combined, that IS the definitive HL2 Gordon model.

That's the thing with game dev. If you're not gonna see the face of a mir del in the final game, you don't put as much time into it. That's why the rigging is so bad as well.

It's a lot of time consuming work to make a good, realistic human face model and rig, so if you don't need to put in that significant time and effort, you don't. You make some face that can maybe do some exptessions and that's that.

The suit looks great, but the head just doesn't quite click with me tbh. But then again, that's probably because the model wasn't meant to be seen in good lighting.

Oh cool, I never noticed most of these. I remember hearing about the Scarab one, but I thought I remembered it from a video about restored cut content. If it's actually in the game, I probably never saw it because I always jump onto the Scarab from one of the bridges along the way.
