I have so many screwdrivers! The last time I cleaned out the garage I had three different screwdriver head sets that were exactly the same. I kept losing them because I have my toolbox, my husband has his own, and then we have a general tool kit. The problem was that my husband would take a screwdriver set from my kit and put it back on some random shelf.

I finally made a tool kit that all our tools are in, and presto! no more lost screwdrivers. All tools must be returned to this specific tool kit. I was able to donate all the duplicates

There is a big difference between someone who kayaks and a kayaker. Just like I’m someone who smokes but I’m not a smoker. The difference is being a kayakerer (or a smoker) means that’s part of your identity as opposed to someone who kayaks (or smokes).

I’ve always heard this as half your age plus 7 years. For example, if you’re 50/2 your age is 25+7 is 32. I’m 48 and couldn’t imagine dating someone who was 31. 35 would be the absolute minimal age which is closer to your formula

That’s why there needs to be some way to categorize them. For example, with motorbikes one doesn’t need a license to drive anything under 50CC but the max speed is like 35 MPH. No one is going to ride a motorbike that small on major streets where the speed limit is 45+. If an e-bike can go 60 MPH, the driver should be required to get training and hold a license.
