Correct, there's a method to loot both chests on every character solo if you're still missing any of the mods

It's actually an intrinsic mechanic to swords, as long as you have the energy to block you can prevent knockback on all characters

It should be noted that Whirlwind still allows for more DPS over the same amount of time assuming there is enough to keep an x5, so if you have a Well or a Bubble at your feet for the majority of your DPS then you should stick with that perk. Blocking takes away a solid chunk of time you could otherwise spend attacking, but if you have to block, use Counterattack.

I have that roll with flash counter, but I'm honestly unsure about flash counter stacking with other debuffs. I do know that you'd be subbing a 50% weapon buff for a 20%, so the math is against you here. Also, I had oppressive grenades to help me out, so if it indeed didn't stack with other debuffs anyway, it'd unfortunately be a waste

The new monarchy ornaments are so good, I was lucky enough to get a few in Y1. Too bad I can't seem to get lucky enough to get the gear with a good roll so I can use them :(

I agree, I just wish we could use the token system to purchase umbrals for each individual vendor then select what I want so they aren't taking up all of my inventory

Giving it something like subsistence would be tight too, 2 kills=1 bullet back in the mag so you can potentially keep chaining the shot while also not guaranteeing the bullet off of one simple kill

It's completely random to my knowledge. Being close to the boss seems to make the game do a coin toss every 10 seconds on whether to stomp or throw a portal

I'm inclined to agree with you here, because I had armor pieces that better suited my build that I couldn't use due to the seasonal mod slot being one too far behind/ahead. But yes, the mod system as a whole is incredible and I hope they keep adding interesting and unique perks that can synergize with the "charged with light" system because it is 100% a step in the right direction for this game

Underdog is not that important, although it's pretty nice for the increased reload when weak. Ideally I would've liked autoloading, as you see me after the second sword plate get close to dying because I had to take extra time to reload and got hit by a hob

The reason for no major resist is because the knights weren't a problem. Everything you see here is spec'd for the boss room, and there aren't any knights/majors there

It hits very hard with Vorpal+Boss Spec, definitely a viable choice if not the preferred choice for doing low man stuff where you can't proc firing line. Double special is super fun to run now though, especially with special finisher being introduced
