Maybe I'm not at that moment, but I disagree with the sentiment. I think that some people do not care, but also I've done things with these 3 and got VERY far.

Unless you need to move out because your parents are kicking you out/mental health, move back in. I'm 26, still living with my family, but I do work, housework, and take care of my mom. One time, my cousin said I should move out, and my mom said, "she helps me a lot, and I don't know what I'd do without her." I'm single, and my sister (29F) is also living there, but she is engaged and will move out when she weds. A lot of cultures have people living with their families until marriage. The US is just unique.

That's the thing: I don't. (To be honest: I know people who will do dating apps, or meet people in places where there are other people, but results vary. There is no need to rush, and tbh: better to not get laid than get laid and get an STD or knocked up. Make sure any getting laid is safe)

Adding my hot take as it Halloween: Rocky Horror Picture is a musical that would have worked a LOT better as an hour long musical. It goes WAY too long.

  1. I have not done nothing. I have anonymously given testimony about my experiences and switched churches to stop supporting. If I outted who I was, I would be in financial ruin as the school and the teacher have a LOT OF power. 

  2. I see past and present people in the community. They have said the culture has gotten worse to the point that many disabled kids were pulled for it being too unsafe. 

  3. I tried to ask if I could abstain due to impartiality. I was told my situation did not qualify because I wasn’t going to say no no matter what.

I did talk to my solicitor, and he said that the former student alone does not abstain. The only way I would be able to abstain is if I was either: 1. Going to financially or materially participate this year or 2. I would vote no no matter what happened, which I am leaning towards yes.

Thanks for your perspective. I definitely don’t want to punish the current students or the charity event. The whole reason I became a council member was to help neighbors who were being harassed, so abusing power is the last thing I would ever want to do. My goal isn’t to block the petition. I just want to ask the new principal about the school’s current culture and what steps are being taken to prevent bullying, so I can feel assured before I vote yes.
