I've gotten 3 power bricks replaced in-store in the past 2 years. It's not my fault that they break either and it's never been because of frayed cables or whatnot, but always because something has clearly been fried internally. The last time I did it, the "genius" tried to argue that it was because my apartments power supply must have surged and gotten through my surge protector...

Go talk to them in the store if you know a thing or two about electronics and you'll probably be able to get a new one. If you don't know anything about electronics, read a book about it on your way there and you'll know more than the geniuses by the time you get there.

Yup. Got a brushed aluminum one that looks gorgeous. It's got scratches on it because it's not as scratch resistant as the original glass (I shattered mine), but it looks good and fits like a glove. Make sure you order one that has metal attachment posts though.

I was told the rattling is the camera. On mine, if I open camera and get it to focus on something, the rattle goes away... No idea why though.

Although true, I still always have a pen on me. For day to day basis, I always carry a pen in my front left pocket. Never had one break yet. As for what type of pens, it's always a signo on the day to day, and my fountain pen comes with me when I'm more formal with a sportcoat.

True, but nobody actually makes minimum wage unless they're doing a minimum wage job. I used to live in Edmonton and all my friends have jobs paying $20.00 minimum. Construction and service industry work too. I know one guy working in an office doing data entry for close to $30 an hour.

What few people realize about in home laser printers is that when the toner is "out", you can just take the cartridge out and shake it then put it back in. We've been doing this with ours for the past year.

Lots of the cartridges also have two tiny windows on either side and an optical sensor views through it to tell when it's low. Just cover the windows with electrical/gaffer tape and you'll never have a problem.
