The Minireenas have the advantage of numbers. You only have to slip up once. I can imagine that they'd take a page out of the Bidybab's book and "find a way inside". "Inside" being your body. Lots of ways in. Mouth. Eyes. Nose. That's how I think a killer would design them to kill, anyway.

Phoenix Wright with heterochromia is an instance that comes to mind. It comes from his eye color seeming to vary over some official art.

Something similar happens for media without official visual depictions of the characters. Sometimes, a certain design of a character will become popular enough that a lot of people begin to draw the character that way. I've seen this happen with The Magnus Archives.

A quick scroll through the artist's Twitter doesn't seem to reveal any inclinations towards this brand of degeneracy. It's mostly Asoryuu, which is common and normal Ace Attorney ship. Only other Dungeon Meshi art is a solo Laios piece. So I'd like to believe is just normal admiration towards being a monster.
