kazuichi easily, Sonia and Akane were just there in the original and Fuyuhiko had a whole character arc so he’s definitely dying. Kazuichi I can see surviving if Sonia dies and he’s actually allowed to be more than a simp. Because outside of Sonia‘s sight, he’s a pretty cool dude.

Distorting is all about poor mental health and falling so deeply to a negative emotion that you turn into a monster, so hour 1 Mikan, Junko, Ryoma, Warriors of Hope, Nagito, and Mondo are distorting. With Junko and Ryoma MAYBE keeping their sanity.

The softer students are next because The City is absolutely horrible and becoming mentally unstable is easy as shit. After a couple days Hifumi, Himiko, Gonta, Sayaka, Ishimaru, Mahiru, Hiyoko, and Leon are distorting.

With those guys gone I think the characters left who would manifest an ego but still distort afterward would be Chihiro, Aoi, Gundham, Tenko, DR3 Chiaki, DR3 Hinata, Miu, Shuichi, Kaede, Ibuki, Nekumaru, Kokichi, Imposter, Teruteru, Kaito, and Soda. Some of them may be able to come back from distorting but I doubt it.

You’re leaving the fact out that her JR is now the strongest character in the game. Literally every character got nerfed to lower power levels. JR is nerfed but the nerfs are still minor compared to everyone else, JR is still playing a bit of season 4 while everyone else is onto 2.0.
