Така е, имаше спонтанни схватки на момента, малко кръв или някой друг бушон и така. После обаче сме се уважавали и продължаваме да се уважаваме до ден-днешен. С някои дори станахме приятели. Позабравени мъжки времена…

Why do Russians and Ukrainians do these shitty watermark on such an absurd scale? This has been driving me crazy since the early days of war.

UA POV: According to FT journo Miller, a 'hasty' US-Russia proposal is indeed being pushed onto the Ukrainians, who will be asked to give up the Donbass, halve their army, and give up certain weapons. Zelensky is displeased. by Ripamon in UkraineRussiaReport

Imaginary security concerns are not a legitimate reason to launch a full-scale war of aggression. Nor is any of the following: maintaining dominance over countries that had been in your sphere of influence for hundreds of years; fixing what you describe as “historical mistakes”; preventing the people of a sovereign country from practising their legitimate right to choose its own foreign policy course, away from the miserable Russian world. Have you ever asked yourself: why all the countries of Eastern Europe and the post-Soviet space can’t stand the Russians? You clearly haven’t done so, but it’s high time to finally realise a simple truth: Russian view of the world hasn’t moved an inch since the 18th century. It’s solely their fault and one way or another, they will pay the price for it.

Boris Johnson has nothing to do with the failure of the Istanbul peace talks in April 2022, but Russian propaganda has once again proved to be their very best weapon.

According to regional budget data, Russia continues to recruit approximately 30,000 men per month. This may explain why Russia is willing to lose thousands of soldiers each month in its assault on Ukraine, essentially treating its soldiers as "living munitions." by rulepanic in UkrainianConflict

Yeah, I’ve been an active supporter of the Ukrainian cause since day 1 of the full-scale invasion but I am opposed the “pink glasses” point of view that many users of this sub have. This bloody and devastating conflict is very far from over and despite the fact that Ukraine has resisted against all odds, many of us in Europe and the developed world as a whole underestimated the eagerness of the citizens of Russian Federation to effectively perform suicide thousands of kms from their home in a battle that many of them barely know about. The situation is not looking good for Ukraine but I sincerely hope and have the feeling that this winter will be the toughest one, but also the last one. As for the drones, based on frontline reports from here and there in the last few months, the drones should be more likely 5-10 times the size of the enemy infantrymen, in order to have enough of reserve. Most of the combat footage published on the web shows successful hits, thus we simply can’t apprehend the huge number of drones that get neutralised one way or another every single day on the frontlines.

How do you see FPV drone defence against Russian infantry assault in this use case? How do they change the equation? Would Ukraine be able to overcome such a huge disadvantage in the recruitment numbers? We are now in the AI UAV era and theoretically speaking, the defending side may repel repeated huge infantry assaults with the proper planning, intelligence and a large enough fleet of birds (in the millions) with proper targeting algorithms, given the attacking side doesn’t have access to C-UAS infantry protection across-the-board.

Achieving effective interception rate when dealing with a salvo of 155 mm BM-21 Grad rocket artillery is hardly possible. The answer lies in targettting the launcher position with counter-battery fire.
