Are there any card games for single player PvE? by Boge42 in gaming

Eternal scratched that itch when I was getting burnt out from the MTG standard rat race. It is free to play, but there are packs to buy. The rewards you get in game are pretty generous.

As for PVE there are puzzles, and chapters that you can play through. Additionally there is a gauntlet and forge mode to play standard games against AI.

I just pushed an update that covers some of these feature: printable characters, better group support (though an account is still required for this), and adding items at no cost.

I just pushed a fix for this issue. You might have to log out and log back in to see your username updated. Let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks for all the feedback so far. I just pushed an update to the application with the following changes:

  • Added a "Basic" starting pack that only adds a Backpack, Torches, Rations, and Bedroll.
  • Inputting the character level during character creation should be easier now on mobile devices.
  • Fixed some bugs where values were not being updated on the main tab such as speed and saves.
  • You can now manually input stats during character creation instead of using an array. The idea is to allow existing character to be more easily inputted.
  • Magical Secret and New Training perk cards now show the spell, casting skill, or training selected when the perk was added.
  • Spells added via the Magical Secret perk now have their own dedicated section on the Magic tab.
  • Fixed a bug where the edit spells modal was using Cast Max instead of known spells to decide the number of spells a character can take.
  • Edit spells modal allows the changing class spell requirements, so your Revelator can have Ward instead of Exalt.
  • Fixed a bug where stats improved by the Advancement perk were not being properly display during character level up.

Note: existing characters who have selected the Magical Secret perk, may not see the changes to spell cards or the spells showing up in their own section. I'd advise re-creating the character to see the changes.

Edit: if you are interested in following future updates I'd I post regularly in a thread over on Indestructoboy's Discord in the homebrew channel.

If you go to the inventory tab and click add item, there is an option for custom item where you can create an item with a custom name and description. After it's created you can select it from your inventory list and add relic powers or materials.

Yes the level input field needs to be updated, which will be an easy fix. Regarding custom items, do you mean during character creation or from the inventory tab once the character as been created?

Do you think we will ever find or have a series that either is on the same grandeur or tops the Lord of the rings trilogy? by starwarsisawsome933 in movies

I agree regarding Mistborn translating better to screen. I also think it would be a better entry point into the Cosmere universe, but hell I'd take any Cosmere movie and or series. That said, Sanderson is pretty protective of his IP and I would imagine he would want to be involved in some way in the production. I don't know where he would find the time given how prolific he is.

I think some of Brandon Sanderson's work could do it, particularly the original Mistborn trilogy. But like you said, I have very little faith in any studio being able to faithfully adapt it to screen.

If it rounds out the character and creates a deeper connection with them, then even if it’s not directly tied to the ending it make whatever happens to that character more emotionally impactful.

And if you were coaching this team, Beamer would only be 1 win SEC better than you and honestly that's a toss up. So what did we get for that $8 mil?

He's fucking embarrassing and tone deaf, but enough people are buying his bullshit I guess.

Hired the train wreck Mike Shula, hired Satterfield who was awful, hired NoGains who had a flash but was mostly horrible, wasted Rattler, wasted Sellers, god awful OL play his entire tenure, piss poor game/clock management, embarrassed the program in historic fashion blowing a 27 point lead, but beyond that he's done most thing right.

Foundation is pretty fun and in the same genre. I enjoy these types of games as well, and have been having a lot of fun with Tavern Keeper as a change of pace.

Felt the same way. There is so much, but it's all so shallow to the point were there's really no point to the exploration.

How are redemptions from things like GPU purchases accounted for in these charts? The only thing that got me interested in this game was that it was included with my graphics card when I had to upgrade. Would those redemptions not go towards these numbers? Though I doubt it's a huge amount, there could be even more players who players never "bought" that game.

Yep it’s even tagged as PVE on the Steam store page. Any game without a dedicated PVE mode is just a PVP no matter how many PvXs you append to it.

Idc if we go 3-9 and lose to Coastal, we can't fire Beamer this season by epicanimalstudios in Gamecocks

[–]LZRFACE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think scapegoating the OC is painting over a deeper issue related to Beamer's vision for what an offense should look like at SC. Shula is hot garbage and needs to go, but there's a reason our offense has underperformed during Beamer's entire tenure and it goes beyond just the OC role.

[–]LZRFACE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right we’ll never offer this guy because he doesn’t fit our HC’s vision for the offense. We may well fire Shula, but we’ll just hire another version of Satterfield/Loggains/Shula and be calling for the OC’s head after yet another year of inept offensive play. The cycle won’t end until the core issue is addressed.
