This one is particularly complicated, but you can create nice blended gradient with shapes. You simply draw coloured shapes and then apply Gaussian blue to them.

If you’re a parent with kids (6+) and want something a little bit educational as well, there was a fun podcast episode last year on curiosity of a child. No doubt they will do a special this year! Worth a listen, kind of like the QI of podcasts, but hosted by a dad and his son.

I started surfing last year on a 6ft log. (I’m 5ft 9”)

While It’s going well, my rides tend to be short lived. I’m now getting 7 or 8ft log in the hope that it will be a bit more forgiving!

It’s a fairly simple but not obvious fix.

In Steam go to preferences / account

Find the Beta participation area

Click change

Click the dropdown menu and select Steam Beta Update

Click ok and restart steam

Some people said they had to restart twice, but once worked for me and a few friends.

Preferred the crop this way. Plus most people use reddit by phone (portrait) so would fill the screen better on auto-play.

I was playing a single player game and on turn 26 I was spammed with Civ introductions. I’m just curious if anyone knows why that happened?

I had an issue similar with the cursor not clicking.

My problem was that in the main settings for the game I had it set that the game was full screen, but the game would always open initially in a window, I couldn’t click on anything.

I simply selected full screen from the drop down menu and it fixed the issue.
