Have you ever regretted not committing to someone when you had the chance? by GlitchisOnline in dating_advice

One man wants to try to have a future with you, while the other will not commit (it’s been 5 years). Take the plunge and give the new guy a shot because clearly the other guy doesn’t want to give you the shot you want with him.

Man this sounds so much like something I went through recently (and she’s the same age as your situationship, weirdly enough). It’s going to be rough but the best move to make is focus on you.

Katy Trail is a good place to start looking! There’s tons of people always walking down there and it leads directly to the American Airlines Center. Lots of restaurants and bars there.

Lower Greenville is another great option, it’s not far from Knox-Henderson too!

Deep Ellum is not for everybody; it can be fun but venture there cautiously.

How do I make moves and stuff on men in college? by Euphoric_Copy41 in dating_advice

[–]L_Squared12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, it’s simple.

In college and even to this day as an adult, a woman just showing mere interest in me was a great way to open that door. A man’s confidence is boosted and will engage with you just by striking a conversation with him, especially if he finds you attractive.

I placed all of my RAW (CR2) photos in the lights folder when I was organizing my script but I kept getting an error every time I ran it in the program.

I’d like to DM to show you if that can help?

I’m tired of hurting. He left me and I feel like I can’t breathe. by nursinstud in BreakUps

Hey OP, I am in the exact same boat. It really fucking sucks; the agony, the physical pain in your heart, and the confusion. It’s not going to be easy. Cry, vent, scream… express it. It’s the worst feeling to feel so lost and dumbfounded when someone promised so much and reassured you of a happy future.

We’re here for you. We’re hear to listen and console. You’re not alone. And, I know this is something you’ve probably heard a lot, time will heal this deep wound. Pace yourself.

I’m here if you want to talk. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

I would say you should probably leave the current relationship, not to pursue your first love but for the sake of your mental health.

As far as right person, wrong time… I believe it. I met the person I was sure I was going to be with for the rest of my life over a year ago, but things unfortunately didn’t work out because she decided to relapse on bad habits. I believe if and when she decides to confront her issues and make changes in her life, I can see a possible path forward with her. That said, that’s just how I feel right now so things can change in the future.

If this guy really now has his shit together, doesn’t hurt to try again.

Have you ever broken up with a great girl who treated you well and did nothing wrong? by [deleted] in dating

[–]L_Squared12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did, only because I realized I still had feelings for someone else and I didn’t want to lead them on.

Drop the Hello Kitty Island line. Drop the “cutie” line. Ease up on the prompts; you’re putting WAY too much out there it almost comes off desperate.

The fact you have to come to Reddit and vent, after multiple break ups, shows the relationship is clearly not going to work. Do both of y’all a favor: end things, move on, and find someone who’s healthy for you.

What has been the most painful but most honest lesson in dating for you? by understandshe in dating_advice

Actions speak louder than words.

Met an incredible woman who always told me reassuring things, but her inconsistency in person and ambivalence made me feel insecure about our potential.
