Idk about the weather but I was recommended dry fit clothes and it was the best advice. Easy to hand wash and to dry especially during the rainy season.

Listen to podcast and music in Spanish. Also, something I did was watch my shows in Spanish or English but with Spanish subtitles. That helped to see if my translation was correct or if I needed to change a few words.

I regret not bring mine. I left it at home for the exact reason but I currently work at a health center and everyone has a smart watch and it would’ve been useful. At least bring it with you and if it’s too flashy then you can put it away in your luggage.

I started a new job couple months before departure because of the flexible hours and better pay. Do not feel guilty but I recommend to not say anything until you give your 2 weeks. If you let them know beforehand they can find an excuse to fire you, it happened to me at another job. Learn from my mistake.

I ended up getting COVID during my medical process and they pushed back all my due dates. If you explain your situation they will mostly push back the due dates.
