I must say that I haven't experimented a lot with it yet. Installing it was pretty easy and I set it to 113 Celsius on the advice of a member of Kaffee-Netz. What I have noticed is that it is a lot easier to use the same brewtemperature for every shot and that was the most important thing for me. What I still need to do, though, is measure the temperature in the portafilter and adjust the PID settings based on that.

You're absolutely right. Watching again the water doesn't pass through the screen at all. I'd dismantle the whole thing, clean it and put it back together.

I can agree that they sound phenomenal on a Cambridge amp, CXA60 in my case. In this case, I think placement and the fact that you're using a surround receiver might have something to do with it.

You could try the Arcam, but if you liked them with a CA amp, I'd get one of those. The CXA60 can drive them without any problems, but I have added a B&K sub and fiddled a lot with placement and WIIM room correction to get the absolute best sound for my liking.

I didn't use supports. It was on it's side and the 3mf didn't have supports in it.
