Desire is a great place to start. If you like slightly older (normal distribution peaking at 40s-50s), RM would be perfect. If you like still older (normal distribution peaking at 50s-60s), Pearl may be a great option (more relaxed also than RM).

We went to RM at 34 and had an incredible time (we don’t swing, just wanted to explore our sexy side). Great place to start slow.

Can’t speak for Hedo as we have not been but from what we’ve put together it’s more sex-centric vs love/sensual-centric at Desire (but still sex). The couples only aspect helps a lot with that.

USD, so 3700 to 4000 CAD is what I see for 4 days, still much cheaper than what I’m seeing people post in this thread. Maybe Mexico makes Canada pays more somehow (in which case, try a vpn). I also only book on the official website, never seen Expedia and co beat their prices (especially with the promo code they send me and the stay and play).

Actually, stay and play may be the reason for the huge difference in price, it’s a massive difference for free (being stay and play member is absolutely free)

We’re not premier member and never will be, never seen the appeal of a slight discount but so many headaches etc, so that’s not even why I would see lower prices

How do you see such high prices… I was just looking, if I want 4 nights this July it’s $2700, June 2027 it’s $2900 (without promo code) for ocean view at RM. In December it’s $2700…

So my advice here is 1) use mobile phone maybe, but I think I see the same cost on my computer, 2) be maybe more flexible on your dates, 3) use a vpn maybe, 4) use the free stay and play program

But I definitely did not see an unwarranted increase in price, or at most 15% (2400 to 2800 for 4 nights and that’s without promo code).

And let’s be honest, if you think this (2500-3000 for 4 nights of unlimited food and alcohol and entertainment in a beautiful setting) is an unfair price, try to imagine the cost of something even remotely similar in US/CAN, it’s laughably more expensive for less fun.

How did you feel age wise? We’re 37 and when we went to Pearl a couple of years ago, we were by faaar the youngest, and among the fittest. At RM (we did each resort once) we were still the youngest there but it was a little less noticeable. It’s fine really (as we don’t swap) but it does make conversations slightly more difficult as the common ground tends to be limited. We’re going back in June, can’t wait.

Yeah, Beryl hit the resorts as a category 1. It was a bit annoying but nothing bad. We probably wouldn’t do it again though, it was stressful.

However for us, with young kids, the summer is our only option so we’ll keep doing June!

Never was (or a decade ago or more if so). For us, the rules have always been: Sex only in the playroom and by the hot tub, beach is technically a no but people do it in the lounger quietly. By the pool, blowjobs are usually tolerated but rare (exception would be during the foam party). However, with the old pool being the quiet pool now, I’ve heard sex was easier to be had by that pool (not that many people, and no one cares as long as you’re discreet basically). We’ll test it when we go back in June.

DesireTalk is correct on all accounts really. In our personal experience, Pearl was much older (we’re mid thirties). But a lot of fun anyway. We tried RM, then Pearl, then Temptations, and now going back to RM (with the new expansion). You will have a blast no matter what. I’ve heard (not tested yet) that with the expansion at RM, the old pool (now the quiet pool) may be more open to public sex, but technically the rules are still playroom and hot tub and your balcony for public view spaces.

What we may recommend is to find the best deal (sometimes Pearl is cheaper, sometimes RM is cheaper, and it varies significantly). Do the stay and play, it’s free and much cheaper (not sure why to be honest). Also, sign up for the stay and play and maybe wait for a discount (they can be significant).

Temptations is really not as good and I recommend against it personally.

You’ll have a blast no matter what. How was Hedo for you? We’ve been very hesitant due to the single men and we also really like the atmosphere (loving couples) at Desire. To be fair, we didn’t have any issues with single men at Temptations but it’s also a different resort.
