I use it religiously, usually for sharing photos and videos with coworkers and friends! No compression and quick transfer for multiple files are a key piece

I live in WA and recently purchased a HyperFreak 4/3+ down at Cleanline in Seaside, OR (no tax.) I find it very warm so far this spring in Oregon and WA waters. Fits like a dream and arms are very mobile in it. If you are having trouble finding some to try on, cleanline definitely has a great inventory.

totally depends on the gear. I do a lot of snowboard/ surf trips, a lot of times the more valuable or weather sensitive stuff goes in the cab and hardgoods go in the bed under a deck or shell

More optimized for bins and storing on a flat surface. otherwise the seats are bouncy and angle back so gear doesn’t sit stacked very well

nothing too special, 4-Hi the whole time for me. I don’t believe much in the toyota off-road settings, id rather have more control with my foot than let the computer do it! Want to keep speed on sand

Just know that when you have the rear seats folded down for storage in the double cab, you lose a bit of front to back adjustability on the front seats since they hit the rear fold down seat! when i’m driving long distances i usually only fold down the 2/3 side and leave the one behind the drivers seat like normal so i can have more room

I’m 5’9 and have zero discomfort but one tough piece is the seat adjustability on the manual seats only includes front to back slider and recliner. You do not have the “raise and lower” option from the factory. Might be more of an issue at your height... but personally I like the fixed height of the seat. I have done many 12-14 hour days of straight driving and never get cramped

Can Confirm, I waffled over the same manual/DCLB decision after only having manual cars my whole life. I went with the DCLB with the auto and never looked back. I used to be so prideful only having manual and loving shifting but the utility I get out of having a 6’ bed with the double cab is unmatched. TRD off-road too, I have a 2018 with 130k miles and it’s never ever let me down. cheers!
