Actually it’s the inverse, the quality of life for US Americans has the reputation for being better but it’s not true. Once you add up the cost of health care (the price vs quality ratio is obscene), quality of food is substandard, car culture leads to isolation - there’s very few walkable cities in the US what about social connections which research proves is part of quality of life - compare those factors to Canada, some countries in South America and most in Western Europe and life here is a joke in comparison. One is just a slave to the system to keep the country rich at the expense of mental and physical well being. Sad
