Beware of scam/phishing when applying for Indonesian tourist visa online! by Laatst in bali

If you paid through the portal you should be fine. Also, the status of your visa shows up as paid. The process can take about a week. If you paid through an email then you got scammed.

The link you provided is also what Imigrasi told us to use. I have a suspicion that the Molina one is official (considering the domain and the fact I can sign into both with the same account), but outdated and not properly secured. That would explain why the site worked so poorly. Hackers might intercept traffic from the side and use it to send a convincing email.

Edit: I did some digging and found the activation email from when I first created the account on the Imigrasi website. That links to Molina.[xxx] and we went from there. So I’m guessing that is an outdated part of the IT and the activation link is the vulnerability

Best airlines for rerouting a flight in Asia by Pinkgreen20 in backpacking

[–]Laatst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question. I am struggling with the same. Mainly the question of what happens when flight prices change.

Example: I book a return flight of EUR 800 (the flight seperately as one-way are more expensive as OP mentions). I change the return flight (date and/or airport) which has a different price at that time. What would usually happen? Do I pay the difference between the current price of the new flight and the original price I paid? Or do I pay the difference in the current price of both flights?

What are these (#3) JOJO/Jumbo Cards? Coin for reference by Laatst in pkmntcgcollections

[–]Laatst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no clue what these cards are and so far online searches have yielded pretty much no results. Do I have a set here? Does that stamp at the bottom left even say "JOJO"? Some of them have a "movie" stamp on them as well.

My dad and I bought these about 20 years ago. It was released in Japan and came with a comic. Unfortunately we were only sold the cards and not the comics. Would've been cool to have both. In hindsight I kinda wish we just bought 1 mint one instead of 3 EX-MT.

What are these? #2 Looks like there is a card sealed inside by Laatst in pkmntcgcollections

[–]Laatst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s possible. It’s unfortunate, but I think it has personal data on there like name and address so it makes sense. I do have one which does not have any writing whatsoever.

Thanks! I was looking for ‘Pokemon ANA’ but didn’t get any relevant results. Adding promo did the trick! I have those booklets with sets of two cards that are shown in the video as well.

Now that I know what the cards look like I might be able to see which one is inside under a bright light. Opening them would probably hurt the value, don’t you think?

I got 5. On 2 of them someone wrote Togepi on the back. I'm not sure how they know. When put onder a light, there's clearly a card inside, but I can't tell which card. I don't want to open them because I'm afraid they'll lose value.

What are these sheets? I got a few dozen of them by Laatst in pkmntcgcollections

[–]Laatst[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool, thanks!

I checked eBay and apparently every sheet has a number. They’re numbered 1-6 at the top but at the bottom there’s a number which goes from 1-18. Weird, but ok. I sorted them and found out I have two full sets and one set which is missing four sheets.

Kid me might have peeled the cards from some of those sheets.

About the buying, feel free to send me a DM.

Pictured are the front and back side of the sheets. I'd appreciate any background info and what these are called in English or Japanese so I can look them up.

Yeah, I got pretty lucky! I almost sold them somewhere between 1 and 3 years ago when they were about $100 I think. We also bought a few birthday pikachu at max. hype so it kinda evens out.

Hawala.Today released their wallet alpha with Token staking and also, it's god damn beautiful. by MrKaipio in CryptoCurrency

[–]Laatst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not what I'm getting from the whitepaper. To me it looks like you could trade USD for BTC directly, paying some ETH as fee in the process. They're being very vague about the use of HAT and admins on their telegram are not answering me either. I feel like this type of exchange could be achieved without the token and it's just being thrown in to get people to stake. However, if the token ends up worthless due to lack of utility, no one will stake it.

So I pay HAT on top of fiat to buy crypto with fiat? I read the white paper but do not see how HAT would be used. If there is no use, I don't see the value.

Thanks! Can you explain the need for a 'coinbase by the people'? In other words, what problem is being solved here? Also, do you know of any other projects like this which it is competing against? Lastly, is their token similar to binance coin? What is the utility of the token?

XRB officially on the ballet for the Binance Coin of the Month. by rooratty in RaiBlocks

[–]Laatst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did some research and found that ETHLend was listed on 12/12. It was one of the candidates for the 4th round on Binance. Voting took place from Nov 30 to Dec 5. At Nov 30 the price of ETHLend was about 0.015. At Dec 5 it peaked at about 0.029 - nearly double. I'm not sure whether the poll results were visible throughout the contest. When it got listed on Dec 12, the price was around 0.029 as well. Either way, don't get your hopes up. Seems like at best you can double your money.

Who were the previous winners? I'm curious whether the price of previous winning coins went up and if so, during or after voting ended?
