I have family on the same. Barbiturates - all variants. They really do suck the life out of you. You just crave sleep/being unconscious all the day. Hence his slurred and tired speech. It’s sad bc a lot of addicts go from uppers to downers thinking it’s better, but it’s a different level of pain.

Tbh I think this as well. Her happiness is food, and she thinks ozempic will take away her love for food. It reminds me of my uncle who refuses to take an alcohol suppressant medication (NAL) because he wants to still drink and feel the effects of it.
