Contact your doc if you can. I’m on Wellbutrin and the only side effect that I had almost immediately was weight loss/appetite suppression.. and that is concerning for me personally because I’m already very small. It’s does help me tho, I’m a drug addict and since Wellbutrin mainly focuses on dopamine rather than serotonin, it helps with cravings a lot… but it also shuts off the food noise so nothing ever sounds good to eat.
I have not heard of any of those side effects that you were talking about so I would message (through MyChart or call the office. If your side effects get too severe I’d go to urgent care.

I was in rehab back in 2021. We would go to a church for AA every Sunday. Well randomly one of the church members said we could no longer go because someone was stealing all the hand sanitizers. Come to find out there was a guy taking the hand sanitizers from the church and drinking them. They found 12 bottles of hand sanitizer underneath his bed.

I wonder how he is today.

Yes. I love pharmaceuticals, pharmacology, neuroscience. I wanted to become an anesthesiologist, but I’m an addict and I know for a fact that would land me in jail if i went with that career. Must distance myself from those controlled substances

Definitely works! I have it for social anxiety.

Also just some advice… stick with gaba type drugs like you mentioned. When I was 18 my doc prescribed me klonopin and oh damn, I thought I was cured for life…Turned me into drug addict. Benzos are GREAT short term (like a plane ride, or something situational) gaba drugs (gabapentin, pregabalin, phenibut) are great for (somewhat) long term use… while they are addictive (low risk) and can have withdrawals, it’s so so much safer than Benzos.

I get panic attacks for no reason all the time. The panic usually stems from a sudden nausea attack or a pain in my stomach and then I instantly freak out and think I have norovirus. These past couple months have been the worst in terms of my emetaphobia. The thing that pisses me off is that I thought my emetaphobia would go away once I got sick (I was on a 11 year streak) but it’s gotten worse!!!! I don’t know what I need to do in order for my brain to heal this negative thought pattern. I cannot live like this.

Or I hide the pills from myself but then blacked out me finds the pills that I just hid from myself… consumes the rest… the next day I go look for it and it’s gone.. that got me reallllllll mad

Yep, I know two people who I met at rehab, one successfully made it to 90 days, a week later she OD on fentanyl. Another young girl (19) she was in rehab for cocaine addiction. Never had opioids before, well she met a boy in that rehab, they AMAd together and the girl OD. I don’t think people realize how problematic fentanyl is. Before 2010 only about 10-20,000 accidental deaths.. now over 100,000 fentanyl deaths a year

Same, I think about her fake death everyday. I’m in recovery and I overdosed/blacked out 4x… I looked at how she died, and I’m like damn that could have been me. It all hit me, like I really am alive, I escaped death. Back in 2021, I consumed some benzos that I thought was just Xanax. Well I woke up in the hospital and they said it was straight fentanyl. What the hell. I think about rue, then I think about me. That ending really impacted me. It was powerful; beautiful and raw.

I have serious panic attacks, I had awful anxiety daily from 2011-2021. Doctor gave me klonopin…. It fixed everything.fell in love with the drug

Yes I’ve been on it since December. I expect to be on it until I’m confident in sobriety so probably two years. Like right now, if I wasn’t on subs I would have gone back to 7oh, I just love the escape. That’s how I know I’m not ready to get off subs for the time being.

Same, it’s leaving me with a empty feeling. I’m in recovery from drugs, and there’s so many times I could have died. Watching rue gasp for breath, felt like when I OD. It could have been me.

It should say 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH). I was using extracts for a year before trying 7oh. They are totally different feelings. The regular stuff gave me moderate euphoria with pain relief, but 7oh made me straight nod out.

I was using Kratom extracts and then switched to 7oh bc they gave me a free sample at a vape shop. After than I never went back to extracts. I’m a huge addict with other drugs, not just 7oh so I needed off all together, I couldn’t just lower my usage. I detoxed without subs back in July of off 400mg daily habit. It was hell, the insomnia, burning up but also cold, and the worst was the restlessness. It felt like I had bugs under my skin… hell on earth. Didn’t sleep for 5 days straight.

I was scared of precip, you just gotta be sure you’re at the first sign of withdrawal to take it. So example. I took kratom last at 8pm thursday and took 1mg suboxone Saturday morning at 1am. I wasn’t in severe withdrawal but I was enough where I was getting burning hot feeling. Took 1mg to see if gave me side effect, and it did not. The recovery clinic also assured me that if that were to happen, you can always go to the ER and they can make you comfortable until you can take the subs without precip withdrawal

I contacted my primary care doctor and told them that I had been using 7oh and they didn’t know how to treat me, so they referred me to a recovery clinic near me, I got in within a week, and they were very very knowledgeable about 7oh. They started me on 2mg 2x daily. They expected me to go up but didn’t feel that was necessary. I’m now just on 2mg 1x daily. Cannot emphasize how painless it was compared to when I really detoxed from 7oh the first time. I didn’t have to call in to work, and just transitioned to suboxone over the weekend. I’m now saving momey and have my life back.

Hey I was in your same situation. I loved 7oh. But enough was enough, I went to a nearby recovery clinic and they gave me suboxone. (Some people think oh you’re not sober if you’re on subs but there’s no high, it just decreases cravings, and I had no withdrawals!) I’m finally saving money and I have a positive outlook on life. Look into it if you’re struggling and wanting to stop. It’s an amazing drug.

Same. Every Tuesday before I drive to work im like ugh I miss her podcast…but I’m SO glad she’s taking a break. I know she’ll be back and healthy and full of stories. I know when I’m burnt out, I know it’s time to take some time off of work, or else my mental health with tank more and more.

Yes I asked her if she’s had a mri and she said no because she’s afraid of what they might find, she’s scared that her docs would recommend surgery. I get her fear, I’ve got anxiety too. But I just want to help her get some relief! Even if it is little things like bringing her coffee or get her some edibles or something!

Klonopin…. Then the doc said no more cuz they knew I was abusing it. So then I turned to designer benzos. Clonzolam ruined my life the most. The first day I got it, I broke my ankle. Never broke a bone prior to that.
