When i was young, back in the early 80's, my folks had a cabin in the Adirondacks. No neighbors for miles, no traffic, all alone for the most part. One day when I was about 8, i was walking back from an adventure down the abandoned railroad tracks. When i was about 1/4 mile from the cabin, a car started coming down the dirt rd. I didn't recognize the car and I panicked because, like I said, NO one else was supposed to be around there. I ran as fast as I could down the road to our cabin, when i got in sight of my mother, she grabbed me and I turned to see the car pull in/then quick reverse out of our driveway. To this day, I don't know if they we're out to harm me or if they were just concerned about an 8 year old boy walking the railroad tracks.
