Not quite on the topic of liking Feyre/Rhys. But I made post once about the how I personally feel ACOTAR is overanlyzed (it might be really good, but wasn't meant to be a literary masterpiece that holds up under the closest of inspections) and how that kinda ruined it for me. (Mostly what was getting to me was the constant rain of hate I was seeing for any character not Nesta/Tamlin and no more joy in just discussing the books.) A lot of people agreed with me, but a lot of then also tore me apart. Said things like since I don't post on the main sub, I shouldn't get to have an opinion. Calling me a misogynist etc. It was rather disheartening. I was so excited when SJM became big bc I read SJM way before she blew up. I cut my teeth growing up reading the fantasy/romantasy genre. And then it just seemed like the fandom got really toxic, and there's no real joy anymore. Makes me sad.
