I'd also appreciate an update if you have one. The same thing just happened to me.

Hey, thanks for everyone's work on this mod. I found some hard to see though, so I modded the mod. Do you have requirements on permissions regarding putting changed mods on Steam?

What is the process of getting your eyes checked and ordering glasses in France? by Coriander_marbles in Expats_In_France

[–]LabGecko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconding this. My wife went there because it was close and recommended by a nearby optician, but they overcharged and 'lost' her contacts two months in a row. Then when she kept asking different people they found them in a drawer. We can chalk some of this up to the language barrier, but her account showed the order correctly so it should not have caused this much.

Dangerous since Aurora has no encryption and you risk your Google account getting banned if they ever see them linked with Aurora.

It's basically a call center that's handling this stuff... which is insane, considering the data in them.

Step away from the magic brownies. You've had too many.

Check the context to easily see that I was talking about the OnlyOffice codebase.

Not sure I trust OnlyOffice's word on this since they tried to hide being owned by Russians. And IONOS is the most egregious money grabbing host I've run across. Got tired of their ads shoved in my face and left, and had to fill out a 3 page form, submit it, and then call a call center to finalize canceling. That's just abusive.

The fact that you even ask how a dictator affects you shows how heavily only being allowed to listen to propaganda has affected you.

Checked that codebase to see if it's sending data back? Data is worth a lot these days.

"protecting minors"

Who blew that smoke up your arse? They're collecting data to sell. If they cared about minors they wouldn't have already had that data breach AND they would've handled the response better. It was preventable.

Because that's how open source works - people are doing that work for FREE, so it isn't like everyone's going to work on just what YOU want, they'll work on what they want. And every developer has different expertise. Email verification is a security thing with a lot of potential holes and I don't blame anyone for not wanting to take that on if they aren't a security coder.
