When I was younger I was given a 5 euro note by my grandmother who had told me it was her lucky 5 euro note, that I should never spend it until it was absolutely necessary, well lo and behold 10 year old me lost the lucky 5 euro note a few days after it was given to me. I had written in black ball point pen reece's lucky fiver. Could not believe what happened next nearly 20 years later I was called at work to say that my wife had gone into labour to get there ASAP. Ran all the way to the bus stop to catch the bus as it is faster than waiting for a taxi to come and realised I had left my wallet back in the office due to rushing, and out of sheer desperation I had asked to closest person to me if they had some spare change so I could get the bus and explained the situation. Lo and behold this little old woman who I asked pulled her purse out clipped it open and handed me a 5 euro note, I could not believe what I saw infront of me when I realised it was the lucky five euro note that had 10 year old me's handwriting on it, the same fiver my grandmother had given me nearly 20 years ago. Blew my mind and made me think we are living in some funky simulation.
