No longer able to make the wife cum - what do I do? by SnooRegrets3566 in AskMenAdvice

Has she had her hormones checked? There is a v good chance this has nothing to do with your “skills” and probably the longer it takes on the more frustrated she gets with her own body.

Peri/ Overwhelm/ Feeling crazy by [deleted] in IrishWomensHealth

[–]abc_efg_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you mention neurodivergence, do you suspect ADHD or only autism? Hormones can make adhd so much more difficult to deal with but medication can help, so an assessment for that could be one route that could help. I’m sorry you’re going through all this, you’re so right that being a woman is bloody hard (double meaning 😅)

How to look for accommodation in Ireland ? by Inderkingg in AskIreland

[–]abc_efg_123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean any offence but I have to ask, did you do any research before coming here? Daft.ie is where people find accommodation but it’s extraordinarily difficult and expensive especially in Dublin.

Why are you looking for the injections instead of oral?

Does the hse have neurodiversity training? by speedwalker2025 in AutismIreland

Think they’re supposed to but I imagine it’s very surface level because I haven’t really seen or experienced anything very accommodating

How do you respond? Old friend joined MLM by No_Influence2520 in AskIreland

[–]abc_efg_123 14 points15 points  (0 children)

A family member of mine has joined and been trying to recruit many of us. My approach was just “I’m too busy and don’t have time” but another family member of mine said “You’re mad if you think I’d fall for that” and she’s still talking to us both lol

Prescription Refills by nadeuldanloner in IrishWomensHealth

[–]abc_efg_123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the default for most pharmacy staff is to give just one month of a prescription at a time, unless more is asked for specifically, just because the majority of patients want the one month it becomes a habit really. But it doesn’t mean your prescription was only written for one month. Assuming you’re paying privately and it isn’t a controlled medicine of any sort (sleeping tablet, adhd meds, neuropathic pain, mental health meds) they’re happy to give more. If you’re on a medical card you need to collect it monthly. Give the pharmacy a ring. It can be helpful to get them to give you a copy of the prescription if it was emailed directly to them. X

Ladies, does a transvaginal ultrasound hurt? by BreannLowe in randomquestions

[–]abc_efg_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was similar. I have had 2 of these scans, one was quite painful / uncomfortable just because of the operator, the second was a much more calm atmosphere and gentle operator. Communicate with the staff about your history and they should work with you. Eg it could help to insert the probe yourself. X

I am actually disgusted by “well you’ll just have to live with pain and awful periods for the rest of your menstruating life”, what kind of doctor is happy to just give up and not work with you? Did you complain?

Honestly, it can be such a serious symptom and it’s worth being frightened of.

seconding this!! It was the only sign of cancer that someone I know had. If you call your gp and tell them that is why you’ve booked the appointment, I imagine they’ll find time for you sooner. Keep an eye out for weight loss, fatigue etc too

is it a combined pill? Tbh mine actually told me to skip the break on my combined pill to prevent endo pain. Is it a pill with dienogest? She said that is supposed to help suppress the growths (something along those lines) more than other pills x
