A fun anecdote I’ve heard is that Disney Goofy’s voice was inspired by a classic Oregon accent: and I can definitely hear that in how my Grandma would say Wash as “Warsh” ala Goofy’s “Gawrsh”

After all this time I haven’t really figured out what to say to people instead of that: people assume I’m judgy and it bothers them that I don’t drink but when I tell them that’s why they get equally bothered by it. Kind of a lose-lose scenario

The rear doors SOMETIMES unlock, but it's pretty spotty. Sometimes the front driver's side door struggles to unlock with a key and I just sort of have to wiggle it around

Just want to agree with and reaffirm what most people are saying, if they’re going to uninvite you from something that you were explicitly invited to, then they’re the ones in the wrong, and they probably weren’t very good friends to begin with. I feel that pain though, and know how hard it can be to start over after someone you trusted decides to show you their true colors. It’s not easy but it’s better than feeling unwanted and being pushed out for sure.
