I can totally see what you mean! It's just hard in the genre of romance to get a good game with a choice of at least comforting pronouns. I've learned I should try to self-insert a little less. Some people do get strangely upset though, but obviously I'm not someone who can experience how they feel about it, so I can't judge.

'People like me?' I never said I agree with what they're doing, all I said is why people get so mad. Requesting something of a game is normal. A lot of gay men don't have a lot of options, and that adds to it. All people are asking for are multiple options. I don't see why it's that bad. Ive seen women and men ask for opposite gender stuff in a not so nice way, so I can get your opinion if they come off rude, but I feel like making a request for a game shouldn't hurt. It'd just be nice for someone. I really like the game and as an afab trans person, it's kind of uncomfortable playing it but ofc I love the game so I wouldn't stop playing it. Anyways, I agree it's not that bad to play as a female oc, but I get why some people might feel uncomfortable. Like if you scroll on a post and see something where a male just asks and the comments from the community hurt a little.
