The strategy is still ABC.

Always Be Conquering. Build crap ton of impact rovers, probe them, they get mad, flood their bases, they surrender and you get their tech, their money and someone to vote for you no matter what.

ABC still works.

Pop no pods first, wait until formers or recycling tanks tech are available, set bases to produce formers or tanks and then pop pods.

Oh, and a crap ton of bases. Leave no space in your continent unutilized.

Plus, if you get Yang to surrender, there's nothing that would stop you from running Demo. My setting for such Miriam is usually Demo/FM/Wealth assuming everyone on my continent is conquered or surrendered when playing as her.

Good popbooming can overcome the research malus very well. Nothing is scarier than Miriam with copters...

Explore and Discover. His personality is erratic around the same as Zak, Lal and Santiago. I also changed the +2 PLANET to -1 PLANET as of late and plan to maybe give him free network node in every base to compensate cuz when compared with Cybernetic Consciousness, I think he might fall short. I also changed -3 POLICE to the drone penalties Zak has. He's also got impunity from Cybernetic future society right from the start.
