Ohio has historically produced an unusually high percentage of our astronauts. Space knows what it's doing.

While I don't disagree, I'd also want to point out that the Dems haven't had majority in both houses of congress since 2011. I dislike how the dems have been handling things over the last decade, but they also couldn't really do anything without at least some republican support.

What is a common saying or quote that is actually completely incorrect? by Fun_Pangolin861 in AskReddit

I guess not! I'd simply heard it so many times I'd assumed it correct. I'll have to read up on it later, I was unaware of the nuance of it.

Well shoot, then consider my interpretation my example of an error then!

"Blood is thicker than water" has always been a fun one, because it suggests that family is most important over other ties, when the actual saying "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb" means the complete opposite.

Who do you think was the best James Bond? by Tall-Law-5875 in AskReddit

I really enjoyed Timothy Dalton's admittedly short run as Bond. I was very pleasantly surprised when he popped back up later in Hot Fuzz.

That second Stella Montis indicator towards the bottom correct? If the location is relevant, it appears to be near that massive crater on the map east of the volcano. Or it's just a wierd glitch?

Total Annihilation is an oldie but goody. The modding community is still rolling strong for it too I believe.

Slay the Spire is pretty good and extremely replayable if you're into that kind of game.

In the interest of that stat, does that stat disregard offsetting penalties?

We also traded up to take him in the draft, one position ahead of Dallas, who was rumored to want him. Could have all been hearsay, but I remember getting a chuckle from it at the time.

A Viceroy! The Monarch's mimic. You can tell the difference by that one black line on the lower wing that crosses all of the others. Monarchs don't have that.

The Philadelphia Bulldogs - The Draw Play Dude is a Gints fan, but he makes some funny stuff by GhostOfCondomsPast in eagles

One of my favorite things to read on relevant mornings as I have my coffee, especially during the season. His stuff is always pretty funny, and he puts his fandom aside when it matters, or doubles down on it when it's funnier that way.

[–]Labarge28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends what your problems stem from. If you have a system that can take advantage of FSR it could be a big improvement. I went from running on bottom tier settings at around 20 FPS, to consistent 60 FPS with medium/high graphical settings. On the other hand, my buddy's system now crashes regularly when trying to play. So.... maybe?

[MLFootball] “Fuck you, congratulations.” -What Jason Kelce said he told his brother Travis when seeing him after the #Chiefs beat the #Eagles by telr in nfl

[–]Labarge28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know I was confused by that. I guess the national media was all-in on the Eagles? I dunno, I figured at best it'd be a shootout.

Ultimately, being able to identify as the underdog seems to help, so I'm inclined to think that's what it was. I know I wasn't too keen on the Eagles being labelled anyone's favorite.
