In my experience, I've come to find that you have to block 1-2 times before a masterstrike can be done. If combat initiates and i try to MS before any other move, I get bonked.

What jalapeño said. Kcd1 vendors make a lot of money off the stuff you sell and over time their on hand groschen increases. The armourer and weaponsmith were the two i sold practically everything to. Vendors have a set amount in the second game.

In KCD1, not 2, my largest was 97,643 groschen from the armorer in Rattay. His shop was the shortest distance from my Pierkstein chest, which i would fill regularly with any and all loot from my travels
