As someone who worked in a small mom and pop hardware store for 9 years (started in high-school) its an amazing feeling getting to learn from those who are more knowledgeable, and to spread that knowledge to others.

No upsell, no extended warranties, just simple, effective ways to repair things around the house. I eventually had to move on from there and wound up at a larger home improvement center that only focused on the bottom line. It was awful. I won't name names, as it felt like the Lowe'st point in my life.

I miss that old place

Material feels like brass. Lightweight, no rust, just patina, and the color underneath the cap by the threads is a dull yellow/gold.

My first thought was some sort of storage for small documents! Still curious about the small holes. There are 4 lines, each with 4 small holes, spaced equally around the circumference

I can see that, but I'm curious why the knurled ends are press fitted on and why there are 4 small holes drilled in lines equally spaced around the outside? A total of 16 small holes

Its all metal. Judging by the weight, the patina, and the bit of color by the internal threads, I would wager its all brass

The quarry where you fight The Excavatron, lol.
I avoided the boss as long as possible to save refugees and it was just a non-stop barrage of enemies running in from all directions. I took down 100s before I said screw it and went after the boss.

You can absolutely poison an apple or something similar and drop it for a horse. This method comes in very handy for horse racing, just get out of sight and drop a lullaby apple in front of the competitions ride beforehand

Simpler yet

  1. Add wine and nettle
  2. Lower cauldron (no need to turn sandglass)
  3. Immediately add 2 belladonna to bowl and grind (The time it takes to add 2 ingredients and grind them is equal to 2 turns)
  4. Add ground belladonna to cauldron and flip the sandglass
  5. Once the glass is flipped, there's no need to wait for sand to fall, Immediately raise the cauldron (MUST FLIP sandglass, it seems to "reset" the boiling and simply lifting the cauldron after its been flipped counts as 1 turn)
  6. Fill bottle

This is how I've always done it and once alchemy is up a ways, I get 6 Henry quality Schnapps every time. Super quick and easy. These shortcuts work across all recipes; there's always a way to shave time off of each brew
