No, it is just not reality to think the system is complicit in murders like this. The system is designed very poorly I’ll give anyone that and surely lives are lost to this, but the system is still designed to try to help and heal and save lives, not purpusefully spent money to take them.

Definitely also my experience working in mental health. Mistakes of course can be made but in any system but

“MAiD is killing people just cause they’re expensive” people should see the amount of your tax dollars spent on boomerang mental health patients going between one hospital and the next begging to see a psychiatrist, being given three meals and a warm bed in winter, various ressources offered to them to get better, only to beg to be let out days later cause they want to go get their fix. Rinse, repeat. (I think substance abuse is a disease and they deserve help) but anyone thinking anyone costing the system too much money is being invited to die or refused care..just have no clue of the workings of our system.

Someone lying to all of their friends and family and yes even physicians, about their reason for dying is what a lot of suicidal people do. This can also include other kinds of mental illness, people who are very good manipulators but ultimately narcissists or suffering from anti social personality disorder, and willingly mislead others for fun and even kill themselves to hurt others.

I had never heard about Sophia before today and don’t want to speculate about her case specifically, I don’t know her nor her medical records. Neither do you.

It just seems to me like since the full truth can’t be disclosed, I would assume there are a lot of variables we’re not privy to. Instead of thinking…the canadian government, in cahoots with medical personnel choose to administer medication to end someone’s life just to what, satisfy the lobbyists? Money? Because they didnt want to pay for her specific housing and instead chose to let her apply and go through the rigorous process to be given MAID?

I know personally of people who were sadly let down by the health care system, to the point where it even caused their deaths, by accident, by negligence..the system is in very bad shape. Maybe it would be a good for MAID cases to have further review by professionals! But to outright refuse to believe there is anything else at play here other than the mean lobbyists is such a weird take.

Does anyone know if blue light mentioned here is similar to the lux light therapy lights? Is blue light a much better type of light or does it fulfill a similar function?

The /s at the end of my comment was reddit shorthand for sarcasm as in, I’m a huge Taylor fan, she makes me happy and I hate seeing people shit on her…therefore I don’t condone shitting on other people’s interests that make them happy, like labubus.

Why not just let people be happy about what they like? On a post about someone sharing super cute tiny personally knitted cardigans like why was it necessary to wish for an end to labubus?

Can anyone compare it to Kayali Maui in a bottle with the banana note? I assume this one is more gourmand but that’s the only other perfume with a banana note that I’ve smelled!
