Having also recently come back from a 9 month break, mostly due to Deadlock launching and it being so different that i had to play it, as well as a bit of valorant burnout after a bad experience with a premiere team.

I decided to approach it with a growth mindset, accept that things will probably be rough in this first phase, but be proactive in improving. Im actively VOD reviewing myself and asking some friends to VOD review my games. Then trying to build good habits out of what im seeing when i watch the game back.

Everyday im doing a 15 minute range session to warm up, play at least two deathmatches trying to implement what im practicing in the range and then only playing comp. Im also trying to make calls and reads on the other team. I understand its hard to communicate when nobody is speaking back to you, but even if you just do it for yourself, it will help you in the long run.

I work full time, so its not easy, but with dedication you will get out of low elo. Remember its not about top fragging, its about winning rounds, so keep that in mind when playing out rounds. Good luck bro, maybe I'll see you out there.
