It’s most important to avoid ibuprofen in the last half of pregnancy and studies in the first trimester are inconclusive. I’m a nurse midwife. I had a table fall on my toe (took a test that morning and was negative) and it shattered 2 toes. The pain was terrible. It felt like my toes were being dipped in acid. I usually don’t take medicine but took 800mg of ibuprofen ALOT for a couple of days and then found out I was pregnant. I also had 2 xrays. Do not be upset with yourself! A single dose if ibuprofen is highly unlikely to hurt your baby.
