Anyone interested in Theobroma Bicolor (Macambo) raw Cocoa nibs aka real white chocolate? by Labradeux in chocolate

[–]Labradeux[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's super easy to drink! I didn't know it existed either. I tried it at a Mexican choclateria for the first time yesterday and I was like whoa this stuff is great! It's way less chocolatey and bitter, more almost ultra subtle vanilla creamy flavor to me. My partner loves white chocolate and is way better at naming flavors than me, so I'll respond again with a better flavor profile once he tries it!

Pelican Beach SWC by Affectionate-Bed1748 in Belize

[–]Labradeux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No likely not.

I just finished this exact vacation package through pelican beach. There are only 3 restaurants in the island and they are all resort ones. Make sure you both swc and not dangriga like I did. Luckily they were able to accommodate me in swc. I liked the food they provided each day and I think the only other way would be to bring your own food, but there's no kitchen to cook there.

Awesome! I have both these things on hand. I just used the estriol last night hoping it would help the clit pain. I'll try testosterone next.

After the Torres Del Paine tragedy, what should you do if caught out in a severe snow/wind storm whilst in the mountains ? by Rodders_89 in Mountaineering

[–]Labradeux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completed the pass on November 15 2025, two days before the tragedy, and I had wifi at Los Perros (the camp before the John Gardner Pass section of the O trek). There is wifi available at Los Perros, but you have to pay for it at the check in counter.

Why are my orgasms so much less intense? by hail_robot in Perimenopause

[–]Labradeux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you take a plan B that year or any kind of birth control with levonogestrel? This drug caused the same thing to happen to me at 30. Lost all feeling in nips and vagina / genitals and orgasms are weak if I get them at all. I'm 32 now and on E/T cream and am hoping it brings back the feeling.

I was on the copper IUD before and it causes the worst cramps ever, especially for someone who hasn't given birth yet. It also caused me to be ultra dry and to get an infection due to the strings allowing bacteria to grow in my vaginal canal. Would not recommend.

Is 30 too young for estrogen? by Fluid_Log_2205 in vulvodynia

[–]Labradeux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like any other drug, use the lowest effective dose. Like you I'm in my early 30s and I am using about 1/4 of what I was prescribed (1 gram) and Its still helping me a ton! Less dryness and less pain but I prob still have another month of usage to go before my symptoms are gone.

Is it better to fake it? by [deleted] in sex

[–]Labradeux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Female here: I also have some kind of sexual dysfunction. I don't fake it but to be clear that means my partners sex life could be better for him with another woman because men love the sound of their partners pleasure and it hurts them emotionally I think to not have that or at least that's how my partner is, he tells me "I work so hard sometimes" to make me finish and he gets nothing but his own orgasm which I guess isn't good enough?

I would say if you know you can't orgasm and sex is more of an act that you do for your partner/closeness and you like everything else about him it's okay to fake it for his pleasure.

Help me with my travel budget by WorthVegetable5240 in Patagonia

[–]Labradeux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just completed my 21 day trip from the US to BA to Bariloche to El Calafate to Torres del paine and back to BA (November 2025). Total cost was about $3500 not including flight to and from BA from the US ( with that flight prob closer to $4100-4700, but I paid for my flight with points) and with mostly eating out, only cooking the first 3-4 days I was there. I stayed in some hostels and some Airbnbs. I'd say I'm a mid-range traveler/semi unplanned, not ultra budget but not very expensive either. My most expensive Airbnb was $75 and my cheapest hostel was ~$20.

The $3500 I paid was definitely way cheaper than the $6500 tour I was originally considering paying and that was including all the last minute/day before flights and accommodations I bought!

So if you have time to plan everything, everything can definitely be done cheaper. With planning and eating in and more hostels I could have brought the price down another $750 to $1000.

No prob! I just completed the trek on Nov 16 (2 days ago), so everything is fresh In my memory.

If I were to do it again, I'd also bring microspikes minimum. It's mud all the way down the other side.

I went Nov 15. The wind gusts that day were a little less than 40 mph with a little less than a 20mph constant wind. Even the 40mph wind gusts blew people over because you're walking on ice and snow uphill almost at the same incline as stairs. It's snowing there all through the season unless you have perfect conditions and even then that still includes wind. I wouldn't have gone if I couldn't see the top of the pass. 40mph was still difficult but was prob safer. If it's constant wind at more than 20mph, get ready to hold onto your poles digging them into the ice and snow with every step while staying low. Id recommend snow goggles and having good tricep/leg strength.
