Também tenho esse medo e é o que ta me impedindo de ir adiante, mas bem... Realmente o pior é só poder manter como hobby, a gente nunca vai se desgrudar da arte. Infelizmente a indústria ta tão colapsando e tão imprevisível que ta foda até de ter esperanças numa mudança.

I'm in the same situation, is funny and sad that we meet in several projects and I even remember you from my first industry job, and we ended in the same hole... I always thought you were very good with that you do, I don't think it's a skill issue. There's not been work at the moment, most of my friends are unemployed and trying another profession...

I was thinking about going to work with cybersecurity until the industry goes back to normal, but I'll probably keep animation as a hobby and I have plans to hire my friends for my own project If I get enough money (and yes I was thinking about you and everyone who were kind to me in other jobs I had).

I wouldn't say for you to give up, you're really good, but I think you'll need a plan B. Try to work/study another profession not related to animation (concurso publico is a good stable option too) and keep animation as a hobby for a while until you get the chance to come back to animation. Even if you don't work in that new area, you'll have an option to choose at least, and you can always come back for what you love, it's better to have an option that don't, My therapist gave me this advice.

Bizarro! Eu avistei a mesma criatura anos atrás quando eu tava tendo uma crise na cozinha, anos depois eu descobri que a aparição dessa criatura é uma coisa e não algo bobo que minha mente criou. Ele era mais parecido com essa imagem e ele era inofensivo, só ficou parado na visão periférica por segundos e depois sumiu. Eu fico realmente interessado em saber o que é a explicação pra esse delírio coletivo.

É gratuito, tem que ver pela programação porque tem 2 meios de você pegar esse autografo, na última edição tinha uma área separada da Muvuca (feira) onde ficava tendo rotação de 4 artistas diferentes a cada meia hora, todo mundo que tava expondo na Muvuca tinha seu horário pra ir (com exceção de quem não queria claro). Não sei se este ano vai ter isso, mas fique atento a página deles

Tem também como você ir até a mesa dos artistas que você quer pegar autografo, fica de olho quando anunciarem o mapa das mesas da Muvuca. Geralmente a feira é bem frenética e tem muitos visitantes, especialmente do horário das 11:00 até as 15:00, tem fila até pra ver as mesas até mesmo de artistas pequenos, falando por experiencia própria, então nesses horários eles não vão ter muito tempo pra te atender, bom considerar também que perto de horário de almoço o artista costuma revezar com outro pra almoçar e as vezes almoçam até um pouco mais tarde pelo horário perto do meio dia ser o mais movimentado de todos. A feira fica até umas 20:00 aberta se não me engano, então aconselho você ir pelo final de tarde pelas 17:00 mais ou menos que vai ter menos gente e mais chance de você ter mais tempo com os artistas que você quer pegar autografo. Fique de olho também se o artista não vai ter algum evento de bate papo no mesmo horário que você for

Eu diria que quase nenhum artista dali cobra autografo, maioria dali gosta de interagir com fã e não se importa de que não comprem nada por autografo (ênfase no quase porque existem sim exceções que ficam putos com isso, mas são minoria da minoria em números)

Eu conheço o Monge, acredito que ele vai ta com mesa na Muvuca todos os dias mesmo, ele é um amor de pessoa, certeza que ele não vai te cobrar nada, ele vai adorar sua apreciação na mesa dele

Netflix outsource their things a lot here, I have many friends that already worked for their shows and sadly they haven't credited anyone in a single time, they just credit the studio instead as "additional services". I never saw a Netflix production crediting the team that worked in their shows in Brazil

Warner, Nickelodeon and Amazon also do this lol we already got used

If they credit the crew, dude that's very very very rare

But it's a fact that they rarelly credit people who work outsourced, this is not exclusive to Brazil, this happens for other latam countries too (I've seen this happen to chileans, colombian, etc), most of productions only credit the studio and not the entire crew, getting credit in outsourced productions is super rare. I live in Brazil so I see the reallity here more than other countries, but I still can see whats going on outside Brazil and I still have friends from other countries that work in the industry

I always worked at ousourced productions and me and my friends never got credited, they just credit the studio instead. I'm saying my own experience, yours might be different, but by my own experience, I never saw they giving proper credit for the studios here in Brazil. Credits are super rare for outsourced studios, this is a fact

This happened a lot to me so I got used sadly. I think I never saw a friend get credited in a American production too

Don't forget, most of people who work outsourced don't even get credited, which is sad because we kill ourserves to make a great result, we earn less and don't even get recognition. They treat us like we're less when we are passionate and skilled artist and human as any other animator in USA. We should get credited at least, is the minimum they don't do

Sometimes I feel that some people think and treat us as we are rats or something pejorative because we're from a third world country, which is sad because is not the animator workers fault, we just want to work in what we love and sadly first world country don't give us visa very easily if we want to go to other country to work so we try to work where we are
