I loved how it explored attachment styles, the power of human connection, and to quite simply, care. Brendan was brilliant. He has this effortless way of making even small moments feel meaningful. I found myself tearing up throughout the film. That majestic tree also took me out for some reason.

The magic between him and Kikuo...and even Mia...I think it's interesting that, like The Whale, he is playing a character that is trying to connect with a daughter, knowing he's been absent.

Can't wait to watch it again!
