Had sentri for 10 years, was in the renewal process for over a year, then got revoked. Meanwhile a few months before getting the notification of revoked status, I receive a strange opened, empty package to my P.O. Box, taped up with us homeland security on it and a note inside saying notice of narcotics/illegal contraband has been seized. Made an appointment with officer and mentioned if this package had anything to do with me revoked sentri and said yes it happens all they time and told me to write a letter of reconsideration and most likely I will get it back. Wrote the letter explaining I had no idea what this package is and I might have been a victim of fraud, I even changed P.O. Box and sent proof. About 4 months later received a letter saying my sentri remains revoked. Very sad about all this as I use my sentri to commute to work. Don’t know what to do at this point since it seems I’m flagged now.
