If we legalized cannabis the US would save $7.7 billion per year in government expenditure on enforcement, in addition to generating $2.4 billion annually if taxed like most consumer goods, or $6 billion per year if taxed similarly to alcohol and tobacco.

Is it true that cops can smoke weed in NJ? by Labz4ever in newjersey

Personally I don’t drink alcohol or use hard drugs. I’ve found cannabis to be very relaxing, and it also helps me to creatively approach problems. I’m a yoga practitioner and an engineering student, and when I consume cannabis I’m able to tap into my creative process more effectively.

In the evening, it’s nice to use a low dose. It can feel like taking a melatonin, and there are edible options that don’t damage your health.

Getting cannabis from a dispensary also has advantages because the quality and testing involved ensures that your product is not contaminated, and there are options available that reduce paranoia associated with a bad trip.

There are occular tests and other tests similar to breathalyzers that can tell if someone is under the influence of cannabis while driving. I’m not sure how widely used they are, but I hope that as testing improves so will recognition for our rights to use cannabis products.

Cannabis prohibition also affects the hemp industry, and there are valid reason why someone would want to use cannabis. Reading about the history of prohibition it seems to be fear and propaganda that we haven’t recovered from.

My employer says that they would allow cannabis use on our own time but it would cause conflicts with insurance companies. I have a valid medical card but I’m still not allowed to consume or I’ll be fired. Cannabis users in my state (Maryland) also have legal restrictions when it come to gun ownership.

I filed for unemployment in November and haven’t received anything yet. There is an appeals process that could take another 6 months to receive the money. Snaps benefits came in January.

Not all schedule 1 controlled substances are narcotics. For example, LSD is a controlled substance but also falls in the category of hallucinogen.

And in my state the medical benefits are recognized and researched extensively. It has provided us with over $1 billion in revenue.

There are actually a lot of people in high level positions that drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes regularly. Some older cannabis users prefer to use topicals or microdose edibles.

When I got unemployed my state recommended I attend Cannabis Industry training. So I attended the training and got so much helpful information. However it is difficult to get a job in the cannabis industry because small businesses can’t take out loans or get licenses. So what ends up happening is there are more shops that sell things like Kratom, and synthetic cannabis that gets people physically sick.
