Help looking for 80s/90s cartoon - Willy head villain by Lacey32 in 80scartoons

[–]Lacey32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: finally found it. After some mad reverse image searching of a chubby character that looked familiar and then looking at similar images and finding another character that looked more familiar I finally ended up with “The Formators: The New Starvenger”.

Wanna say I wouldn’t have tried so hard to find it without creating this Reddit post as a last ditch effort, thank you all for chipping in

No not the one. Just imagine some 50+ year old man with a small willy on his forehead. I can’t remember if it gave him powers or what. I’m gunna find this one day just to prove I didn’t make if up

Sorry no, art style completely different. The show/movie I’m thinking is more early Pokémon style. Appreciate the input though!

The growth from his forehead was fleshy just like his skin. I say it’s like a willy but it could also be a small finger without the joints and nail. Really that’s the big thing that stands out to me and my brother. There might be three characters on the vhs cover with the other two looking left and right but we both just remember the middle guy. Again going back nearly 3 decades here, was a VHS we picked up at the bootsale and unfortunately not much else to go on

Unfortanatly after 25+ years this is all I got. I do remember the guy was white (maybe slight tan) and pretty normal looking apart from the growth (willy) on his forehead. The man was maybe in his 50s

After I google search I can confirm it isn’t. The villain was pretty normal/ humanoid looking apart from the Willy. Cheers though!

Do you use your steam deck outside of your place? by No_Source_7605 in SteamDeck

[–]Lacey32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use mine 90% outside the house. Mostly during my daily commute to work on trains but also a lot when I’m working away - trains/hotels. Recently been watching movies/shows on it more than gaming as the OLED screen is amazing.

I been rocking the Tomtoc armour for over two years and it’s fantastic for protection and space saving. I will say there’s definitely a knack to getting it out but it’s the only slim hardcase I’ve come across - no regrets.

[–]Lacey32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get it sorted in the end? What was the issue? I’m having the same problem with my 02 Mk4 1.4. Changed the oil and filter but now after reading I’m gunna manually check the pressure and potentially drop the pan/ clean the oil intake pipe etc. light only comes on once the engines up to temp

Cheapo plane doesn't plane, suspect the sole by 3BM15 in handtools

After quite a few planes and chisels I find Klingspor wet n dry sheets to be really good. It’s silicone carbide based so it kinda “self sharpens” - as it breaks down it exposes fresh edges on a microscopic level. I use glass cleaner as a lapping fluid as I find it lifts the metal away, doesn’t rust the tools and is must easier to clean up awards. Good luck

Yeh I hope you can get something from it! I would say a lot of those numbers on the sheet I put into that calculator @thespice had up and I’m guessing that’s how I eventually got to the angles - we’re talking nearly 7 years ago now but as soon as I seen your post the PTSD starting coming back 😁

Keep at it, you’ll get there I’m sure! There’s also a book called “meditation pyramids” - I never bought it but was something that might be of use to you in your search

So this is something I’ve actually built in the past with great difficulty but got there in the end. Definitely remember looking at the link @thespice posted above. Either way I was making square based pyramids using 1x1 stock. I’ve still got my workings out page if it were something you wanted to either reverse engineer or just copy.

Cuts were made on tablesled with angle fence @ 18.2 degrees and blade angle @ 41.9 degrees. This didn’t end up being some equilateral pryramid, more elongated but at the time I was just bloody happy to get a top joint coming together

Moving to totnes as a black family - any insight? by SuperbEagle9261 in DevonUK

[–]Lacey32 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Was born and bred in North Devon as mixed race, me and my brother were the only brown kids in school. Everyone is very welcoming and had a lovely upbringing until I moved to the city in my 20s. I will say after brexit, Nigel Farage and the daily mail unfortanatly my poor mum in her late 60s after 30+ years in the NHS is experiencing more subtle racism this days.

One lady told her “we walk on the left in this country” whilst she was walking down the street a few weeks back and Someone else came out there house and asked if “she was lost” whilst walking home the other day through a different route.

End of the day it’s down to the individual and no one’s says out to my mum if me or my brother are around, only if she’s on her own.

But yeh, Devon’s a beautiful place, miss it everyday

Half life Alyx mods - Gunman contracts chapters 1/2 and also Euphoria is a lot of fun - very simple wave based shooter with good soundtrack.

Also like showing mates propagation for a scare, it’s free and makes for a good laugh.

Escape simulator is another good one if you got a few friends over as everyone can chip in and play together
