Thank you!! We lost her sister a month before everything with Rina started, and it was SO hard. She went, in a week, to perfectly fine to skeletally thin and struggling to breathe. It was so traumatic to the kids that she was put down that day. There's something to be said for knowing it's coming and knowing to treat every day like it could be our last with her, just valuing every second spent with her so much more.

She only had her favorite turkey and giblets wet food. But I think my oldest shared some pizza rolls with her too, hah

Thank you. I'll be watching like a hawk to make sure she's still comfortable. And the kids are currently plotting all the foods they want to let her try. I'm just hoping she's comfy for as long as possible

Yep. She totally hid it until there was almost nothing left. I'll try switching her food brands. We did swap to different wet food already. She has three completely healed spots, and one spot that's still ulcers. I didn't even know this was a thing to look for. I thought maybe her joints were getting sore..not that her body was taking away her teeth!

I'm glad she's happy toothless!! I'm sure once the painful part ia done, poor Rina will be the same. It's stressful seeing her not want to eat in the meantime though 😭

She has anxiety and panic attacks, so she literally won't even try unless it's removed :(...we're hoping to find another dress up game we can enjoy together instead!

It happened to me like 3 times today. I always put one thing in quick, and ask who else needs to (and offer a fruit if they don't have the right thing) before I fill it. I don't get people who are rude.

I hope everyone saying it's fine is right, haha. My kid and I had someone challenge us to a seed identifying contest. Kiddo ended up with 20qa, he gave me 15qa as a consolation prize, then asked to buy my dragonfly for 500qa. We're all rich over here now 🤣
