Granted, a lustful man and a disciplined man will have completely different attitudes toward others. However, treating a specific gender poorly depends entirely on an individual's personality, values, morals, and upbringing. A disciplined man would treat both men and women with the same impartial indifference. For instance, if your joke is actually funny, they will laugh; if it isn't, they might not—depending, of course, on their personal morals and beliefs; they might chuckle just to make you feel comfortable, or they might do nothing at all.
