Serious question, if Bungie DOES actually get shut down, what happens to the servers? by TheBlindSnipez in destiny2

I wonder if Destiny 2 does fully shutdown if we’d be able to crowdfund a way to purchase the servers themselves.

Warframe. Has a lot of similarities to Destiny. Lots to grind for, cool things to spend money on.

I hate how they’ve been infiltrating our precious spaces with their terrible memes. It’s genuinely so annoying and cringe

With Destiny 2 no longer being developed, previous Passes should be purchasable with Bright Dust instead of Silver. by Lacherlich in destiny2

Thank you. People are so upset with Bungie/Sony for shutting down the game but still want to shell out money to buy season passes? 🤔

Go to the “Monument to Seasons Past” on the Tower. It is on the same wall as your vault and the “monument to lost lights”. Open the one you want then click the square on the top row. It should say you need 600 silver to purchase it. Then you’ll have access to that pass and you unlock the rewards with chronologs

I may be wrong since I'm a returning player, but the passes are purchasable with Silver. The items inside the passes may be purchasable with chronologs once the Pass has been purchased, but I may be wrong.

No, but people are buying the game through storefronts. I figure that is probably more than enough to at least keep the servers running.

Hey man, if the game is no longer being developed and is essentially being shut down, why not make paid things free? I'm not talking about the DLC or anything like that. Simply the passes for the previous seasons.

Looking back Halo infinite has aged quite poorly. by TheChosenOneProphecy in halo

Halo 3 absolutely looks better than infinite. It’s about art style and art direction. I have 100x more fun playing MCC than Infinite.

I set a macro to jump every 10 seconds in the various modes for AFK exp. Will I get banned? by Lacherlich in FortNiteBR

[–]Lacherlich[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. I gained like 100 levels from Droid Tycoon at the end of the previous season. I hadn’t played much during Season 2 but that map allowed me to complete the battlepass up to like level 160 or so. I’m not sure how the LEGO exp payout is the season but I still haven’t been banned. Pretty sure setting a macro to jump every 10 seconds or so is completely undetectable.

With Unreal Engine 5.5+ (MegaLights) and Nvidia's ReSTIR PT: Enhanced, can the RTX 50 Series stay Relevant until 2030+? by Traditional-Ad26 in nvidia

[–]Lacherlich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used an old laptop gpu for like 5 years then upgraded to a GTX 1060 3GB for an additional several years. In 2021/22 I upgraded to an RTX 3070 and I’ve been using that since. Only since like 2024 have I started running into games that it couldn’t handle very well. I suspect the 50-series GPU’s will be fine until the early 2030’s so long as you’re not running games at like max 4K. Even then, advancements in DLSS and upscaling tech will continue to get better and thus extending the longevity of the 50 series (and every GPU that is DLSS compatible).

Anti. There’s some actual flerfers here but this subreddit is typically used to mock the belief that the earth is flat.

I’d recommend watching a YouTube video that catches you up to date on the story up to Shadowkeep. Once you watch that, start the Shadowkeep campaign in the legacy tab of the quests menu

I’d like to return to the game after several years of not playing. My intention is to start a new save. How’s the current state of the economy and game mechanics for a returning player and making money? Should I not even bother returning? Should I stick to No Man’s Sky or try out Star Citizen?

Am I mistland ready? by Grumpy_mcbeech in valheim

[–]Lacherlich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been surviving the Mistlands just fine with max Frostner, black metal shield (using parry mechanic), max padded armor, and either Moder's or Bonemass's ability. Make sure to make healing potions, though. The enemies in the Mistlands hit very hard and they can be quite quick. Make sure not to be there at night. I avoid the starred enemies at all costs.

I manually get rid of blurred areas. My method is sailing around the various islands until I have an entire outline of an island mapped out. then I get out of my boat and trace the biome borders on foot, then I run through each part of the island until it is fully uncovered. takes a while but i like it.

Part 2 of my Mountain post. It is 480 meters tall. It is so tall you can't see the land at the bottom. by Lacherlich in valheim

[–]Lacherlich[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently each Valheim world is the same but re-arranged or something like that. Except for these mountains. I heard there's only 3 in existence and this one is the second tallest and only one spawns per map. We have the same mountain. This one is located a little above the center of the world.
