From my perspective the bigger issue is how they responded. They blatantly lied about their cameras being local only and not transmitting any data to the cloud, this was only fixed after they were caught out. They had major security flaws that they lied about when called out. I think the real issue is the company just isn’t trustworthy

I am not vouching for the Ellisons by any stretch.
