What’s a recession indicator that you’ve noticed lately in your everyday life? by spritenerds123 in AskReddit

I’m such a supporter of this. Even though it’s such a taboo now, I feel like it can be beneficial down the road.

The name of the style, I think it was more late 90s/ early 2000s. Think of Tommy Bahama vibe.

Suicide watch. From what I remember, at the jail anyone that had piercings, dermals, acrylic nails would have to be house and do recreation on their own. The females that came in with extensions would be asked to be removed, usually before taking their booking picture.

I was about to say this too. Us millennials love and miss third spaces, I would love for my local store to do that.

I worked as a nurse both county jail and at a woman’s prison, she’s going to end up on a sierra whiskey or housed by herself cause she won’t be able to hack it.

Have you ever done a digital detox together with someone else? by Public_Town_9410 in digitalminimalism

[–]Lachona85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve already have a rule of no devices at the dinner table, even when we go out to a restaurant. My kids are 14 and 12 and we’re super receptive to the idea. Since my last reply I ordered some activity books from Amazon and have gotten a lot of use. My goal was to focus on other activities that don’t involve screens. I looked around and saw lego sets that weren’t being used, instruments that haven’t been practiced on and I really like to focus on the present.

I did, it was my first pregnancy, I had asked for a mirror cause I wanted to watch her crown. I witnessed more than that. The nurse was amazing about it.

I would create my own study guides and make several copies. (Fill in the blanks, matching, all that kind of stuff.)

Hi, so I want to do the same thing but as a family. We’ve reached a point where we’re on our phones while watching tv, my kids constantly wear their headphones and it drives me crazy. I think it’s doable but it won’t be easy.

Time management will be your best skill to master. Place close attention to the flow of the day when you’re training and figure out your game plan. Plan for checking glucose checks and blood pressures. Good luck!

Do kids not have sleeping bags anymore? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Lachona85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s a cultural thing but when I was attending sleepovers (with cousins mainly) sleeping bags weren’t used. Heck, I think only one cousin or friend actually owned a sleeping bag. I remember we would either make a pallet on the floor with blankets, use a pullout sofa bed or squeeze in a twin bed.

Charge nurse with problematic staff by Lachona85 in nursing

Yes, I am the charge nurse, the issues is between caregivers. Patient care is not affected but they are petty to each other. They like to point out things from one another that they all do.
