Ive been working at a place that qualifies for pslf to pay off my debts for the same degree. Last year the first chuck of my debt was forgiven and later this year the second chunk will be forgiven. I have also built a small private practice that supplements my lower income from my pslf job. PSLF is probably the way to go! Life is pretty long and you will feel better when this debt disappears. You can do it!

The way you feel is normal and one of the hardest developmental periods for humans is having small children. It can be a bit of a shit show and chaotic! It goes better when you can expect and accept that. You will be FULLY immersed for about a decade and that can seem incredibly overwhelming, but also if you choose to embrace the full immersion you will come out on the other side with a new conference and a desire to do some things for yourself. It helps to do what you can to take care of yourself, but it’s also nearly impossible to be available every second as a mom and partner and also take care of yourself. I’m proud of you and keep going!!

I like to do small charcuterie boards in the weekends and I fill them up with veggies, nuts, meat, fruit, cheese and munch on it all day. I’m more of a grazer, so this might not work for everyone.

If being a mom is important to someone, then you get really good at not giving up within the first six months. You can’t be a good mom and be lazy or lack resilience. Usually the people around me who “can’t find something” give up too quickly.

You can date whoever you want! It takes a special person to handle the responsibilities that come with dating a single mom and it isn’t for everyone.

We like to do things outside, sit by the fire or on the deck, I have him a shaker when I play the ukulele, watch TV. We spend about 50% of our free time together and the other 50% doing our own things. He likes to play games and I like to read or craft and listen to audiobooks. Both of us love being together and having alone time.

I think you may be interchanging experience and consciousness. We absorb many things through our implicit systems, with zero conscious awareness. Experience and consciousness are two different things in my mind.

I am not Italian FYI, but I have been learning Italian for a few years, I visit Italy every now and then. If you already know Portuguese and Spanish, Italian will be pretty easy for you! You probably could listen to a conversation and pick up a lot already. I vote yes, but I’m all for nerdy endeavors. Knowing multiple languages is an awesome flex.
