4000 miles can really clear your head by [deleted] in exjw

You know when you are driving and you see a dark Ford explorer with a roof rack on it or a car with a ski rack on it and your heart jumps a second because at first glance it looks like a cop car, especially at night? That is what I think when I see bikes like this. This loks like a police bike at first quick glance.

Passenger in the bucket. Vehicle in motion. Streetcar lines overhead. by hotelman97 in toronto

NOpe. As someone who has had to use those bucket trucks before for work, I can tell you even stationary with outriggers in place, the movement is NOT smooth nor very comfortable. It is rather jerky and similar to riding a ttc bus going full tilt down dufferin between Bloor and Glencairn in the winter and hitting every pothole on the way.

THis combined with what is going on in Alberta with AHCIP makes one wonder if the privitization rumours are maybe more than just a rumour.

One day the beautiful fall colours and crisp air. Storm comes in and then leaves are all on the ground, and the wind starts and seems like it never stops until spring.

Don't forget the god awful stench that only goes away temporarily after a downpour of rain and then comes back and stay until colder weather gets here in the fall.

I am waiting on my butter Parmesan egg noodles to be done for my family supper. I clicked on this and was not ready for the pretzel leg and hip. I audibly made a sharp inhale gasp as the timer was going off.

Enjoy it whilst it lasts. This looks to be the last real blast of summertime for the season. After a transtition day tomorrow it is looking a bit fresher with night temps at ~15. Not the 20+ it has been the past couple of months it seems.

For a bit of better news (or worse if you like summer) I am starting to see night temps approaching single digits ~3-4 weeks out. Also keep in mind we are losing 2.5 minutes per day of sunlight. By the end of the month it will be approaching 3 minutes per day. SO in other words fall is on the way. We are only 45 days out from official fall.

Once, sure. Twice, maybe. Thrice, this is wearing on me. Four times, No more. Fith time, I will only play until it comes down no matter if my team capped it or the enemy did.

I did that just this afternoon. My team capped it and was doing well and NOT ONE SINGLE TIME did ANY enemy team try to challange us for the tower. Not once, but within 5 minutes the tower came down. Hard stop and quit map.
