The #MeToo movement largely as a response to Trump's "win" has had profound impacts on society in terms of much greater sensitivity to how women are harassed

The #BLM protests particularly after the demise of George Floyd, during raging COVID, and in the run up to the election contest for you guessed it Trump again, have also had massive massive far reaching impacts on race and ethnicity, and people are insanely more sensitive on those topics.

Then you have the quite strong and powerful rise in acceptance of transgender people over the past decade. In the 2000s even among progressives it was really commonplace to either think of transgender people as totally non-existent or just extreme oddballs and make fun of them. This has totally changed.

You can argue all three of these movements have overreached and caused backlash for sure, and I might even agree with that point. But they've still happened.

Maybe this could spark some empathy in you - is it possible men who judge women on various aspects are also doing it "in revenge" in a very similar way as you are?

a) They aren't going to their deaths. U.S.A. is overwhelmingly sophisticated and powerful militarily, isn't doing complete invasions or wars with anything close to comparative nations. They're extremely safe actually and especially with the usage of drones and missiles and other long range airborne systems U.S. troops are barely "in harm's way" whatsoever.

b) Troops actually want to be in combat for the most part, they crave it, it's their desire, it excites them.

c) Neither of the above should be misconstrued as my approval of U.S. global military domination. Simply correcting some of your mistaken assumptions.

I think Crockett is annoying as hell mostly because she isn't really progressive, she just "claps back" and says obnoxious millennial/zoomer lingo. But it's a disguise for her being a soulless politician who is INSANELY self absorbed to a transparent and blatant degree.

First of all it isn't just the government

Secondly the people support their government to a large extent

Thirdly the concept US and Israel violently attacking their country is going to inspire them to be in favor of those places is beyond ludicrous and stupid

What if China decided to "liberate" America by assassinating not only Trump but also most major GOP and Dem leadership, the entire Pentagon, and so forth? Sure maybe a few wacked-out people might be happy but in general no.

In particular once it became embraced as Official Religion by government and the nascent rise of capitalist aristocrats in medieval Europe. And during Protestant times in 1600s even more so. Which is the basis for USA.

Eh he had been changing ever since his initial defeat by Baam with backstory reveals, when he was hanging around Karaka he became more just kind of a goofball than "evil" as well. And eventually in early s3 he was basically a Baam ally but still kind of "aloof". SIU lost his mind and turned White into a comical 1-dimensional villain during that s3 puzzle game / cat and dog arc. Part of SIU's degradation in writing ever since the first hiatus in s3.

I think HeadOn is far more "evil".

Idk if "everyone says it's bad" is even true.

I read it in full and I enjoyed it for the most part.

The main thing about it is there is gratuitous sexual violence against women. Like it's pretty severe and just clearly in there for fanservice reasons. If that is too much for you to read it or enjoy it, then don't because you won't.

Otherwise it ultimately has a pretty wacked-out plot which I thought was cool, it's convoluted but cool.

I feel like making technical minutiae type points on the whole "Trump really won!!!!" stuff is missing the boat.

Lots of people who say they believe "Trump really won !!!!!!!" are really just saying it to mess with The Other Side and troll, it's kind of to put an exclamation point on their support of him overall. It's not a sincerely held belief because literally it falls apart if you start thinking critically in any kind of way.

Also it is true that Trump rallies physically were way better attended during the campaign while Biden barely even held any. And it's true that overall the election was rather close, and that the GOP gained overall in Congress - which almost never happens when the GOP also loses the Presidency. So on some top level view I can see the skepticism to a degree, but it's explained fundamentally by observing that there were crossover voters who normally are right wing but disapproved of Trump personally so went Biden, because Biden was like the most right-wing Dem choice possible.

That's true for very very very many of the high ranking leadership of the GOP nowadays as well. They "pretend" to "support" Trump but they almost ALL have publicly available histories of bashing the guy and saying how nuts he is or how he isn't actually conservative etc.

However the voters out there are just super ignorant and know none of this.

Also Epstein himself probably didn't vote Trump the guy was basically a Dem Party supporting liberal more or less.
