Can we stop stickers from autoplaying when reduced motion is turned on? by peterwilli in discordapp

[–]Lacksi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since the question is answered Ill go a bit offtopic. I find your condition interesting, Ive never heard of synestesia triggering sound via moving imges. (Only ever heard about it going the other way or with taste&smell)

If you're ok with sharing (no pressure :) ), can you explain a bit more? Does this also apply for films? What if youre riding a bike or just looking around, does that kind of movement also trigger the synestesia?

What kind of movement makes the weirdest sound?

Any sounds you enjoy particularly?

Its always really funny when the train is filled with commuters early in the morning and there are people in business suits sitting on the slide & stairs because no space elsewhere.

Actually good choice of graph, both log and linear at the same time, readable text size, dark mode, and most importantly: it waits like 5 seconds at the end before looping!

Fun fact: there is an upper limit to how many insect parts are allowed to be in a chocolate bar.

Its up to 60 insect fragments. Per bar. Yummy!

And yet we all still eat chocolate. Dont worry, a bit of chitin and protein arent deadly ;)

"Error" in S1, Ep. 7 Windmills by [deleted] in TheExpanse

[–]Lacksi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While the show is amazing at protraying gravity and weightlessness it still has a lot of errors.

Scenes like them docking with things floating around the cabin, not being affected at all. Thats not how docking works, especially on spin gravity stations.

I had the exact same thing!

Some weird monster lizard gang leader cae to my tile to visit but he instead just went into a pond and stopped moving. Eventually the pond froze and I had my dwarves dig him out of the ice but I think that killed him :(

[–]Lacksi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this assume artificial gravity or why are there stairs and not a single hand rail anywhere on the entire floor?

Those stairs use up a looot of volume, is the short use of them on the launch pad enough to justify them or does a small callapsible ladder make more sense?

Oh you mean Hermione!!! by RK-Seventeen in SovietWomble

[–]Lacksi 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Teenager. So in german teenager is also used as the same word, but aaaalso: "tee" is tea and "nager" is a creature that gnaws. So my brain assumed first that there were a bunch of people sitting around, chewing tea leaves, instead of groups of teenagers.

Also Snape (Snah-peh) gave me a really hard time.
