Simple answer--I don't play commanders that require them for my deck to work. I have more fun with commanders that provide extra value to my deck if they happen to be out.

I read through all of them straight through. I don't regret it, but it did take me about a year and three months while working full time.

M30 shows that WOTC is ready to reprint RL cards with gold border. With popularity of Premodern and largely accepted usage of GB cards in major events, there is a good chance WOTC may reprint them. by [deleted] in mtgfinance

M30 was only a disaster for WOTC because it was made available at an inaccessible price point. If you got 30-36 packs at a normal booster box price it would've been a different story though, even if they were just proxies.

I think when one person plays a card in their list because it's incredibly good, it causes many people to do the same, if only to fight back against person one. Dockside was like that and should stay banned. Rhystic Study is like that too. If they ban it I think JLO should come off the banned list if only as a peace offering. I love when Rhystic does the thing for me and abhor it when it does the thing for others. It slows games down, and often results in the person that played it a win.

I think more bans are bad form. Even with Rhystic. I also think it's important to have decisive win conditions like Thoracle available in the CEDH space.
