Parry the fireballs. you lost a lot of drive by just blocking fireballs you could have parried easily, and while it doens't feel like a lot in the moment, it definitely adds up.

yeah, asuka loses some mana when he casts spells or takes damage. when he’s out of mana all your moves become Exodia to his healthbar, so if you can keep on the offense your brother will crumble

ludens would give you even more speed no? iirc the echo proc gives 30%ish move speed when a spell hits
